The San Francisco International New Concept Film Festival was founded in 2010, and is a non-profit organization officially approved by the US Federal Government. After 4 years of preparation, we successfully held the First film festival in 2014. Since then we insisted on holding the film festival every year. Our purpose is to inspire new creations of films, especially to encourage independent filmmakers to create originals and realize their dreams.

        During the severe COVID pandemic from 2020 to 2021, we were glad to see that many filmmakers have overcome difficulties, persisted in creation, worked hard to make films. To fight against the pandemic, for health and safety, we decided to hold online film festivals for two years, which have been widely praised. From 2022, we return to the onsite festival. Without everybody’s efforts and support, our New Concept Film Festival won’t be so successful. Thanks to the filmmakers, judges and volunteer staff, to the supporters and patrons, to all the audience! Let us work together to make the New Concept Film Festival an ideal film art exchange platform.

        Every year we receive hundreds of film entries which come from USA, China, Canada, Argentina, Brazil, Argentina, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Morocco, Austria, Israel, Iran, Australia, New Zealand, India, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Taiwan and other dozens of countries and regions. The production level of the participating films has been greatly improved year by year. The New Concept Film Festival is founded by filmmakers, for filmmakers. All filmmakers please do your best to use your creative inspiration and work hard to make your genius creative dreams come true. We are waiting to see your film every year!
